KTS’s comprehensive MetLife Vision program is free for employees; those wanting to cover dependents may do so through payroll deductions.

The Vision program is a PPO program which means you will receive the greatest value by using participating vision providers who have agreed to discount their bills. Participating providers can be found at www.MetLife.com (Network name: MetLife Vision PPO).

Routine eye exams are covered once/year at 100% after a $10 copay. Frames are also covered once/year at 100% up to a $250 allowance + 20% off any remaining balance. Lenses are covered in full and can be updated annually. Contacts may be purchased in lieu of glasses. There is also a $250 maximum in-network allowance on contacts. Benefits will be lower than these when receiving care from providers outside of the MetLife vision network.
